Ingredients: -1 lb lean ground bison
-1 6oz can tomato paste
-1 8oz can diced tomatoes
-1 8oz can tomato sauce
-1/4c water
-1 16oz can dark red kidney beans
-1 green bell pepper
-1 medium vidalia onion
-*Option 1 can sweet yellow corn
-Black pepper
-Garlic powder
-Onion powder
-Chili powder
-Salt Directions:
Cook bison on medium-high heat in skillet until browned and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
In crockpot, mix in cooked bison, chopped bell pepper, onion, water, tomato paste, and tomato sauce.
Cook on high for 4-5 hours. After 3 hours, add in can of dark red kidney beans and continue cooking for 1 hour. This helps keep them from getting soggy.
